For the past three years, The Cambridge Hamper Company has proudly supported Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust with the creation of highly bespoke, nut free gift hampers for departments across Addenbrookes Hospital.

This has been a large-scale and carefully managed project, built around quality, safety and thoughtful gifting for teams across one of the region’s most important hospital environments.

Thoughtful planning

Planning for each year’s hamper project begins in April, giving us time to carefully source, review and refine every item that will go into the final gift hampers. Over the past three years, each hamper has included more than 20 individually selected items, all sourced by our team at The Cambridge Hamper Company.

Creating a truly bespoke nut free hamper at this scale is never simple. Every product has to be considered in detail, not only for quality and presentation, but also for suitability within a nut free gifting brief.

Working closely together

We work closely with the Cambridge University Hospitals Workforce team throughout the process to fine tune every element of the hampers. That collaboration helps ensure the final result is practical, beautifully presented and right for the teams receiving them.

This attention to detail extends far beyond the contents themselves. From inner packaging and outer packing to ribbon choices and visual presentation, every part of the hamper is carefully considered and agreed before production begins.

Delivery across the site

Once the final hamper has been signed off, attention turns to delivery planning. Delivering such a large volume of bespoke hampers is a coordinated team effort between The Cambridge Hamper Company and the Cambridge University Hospitals Workforce team.

The hampers are delivered in one morning to a single location, before being distributed across the wider hospital site by Cambridge University Hospitals Workforce teams serving Addenbrookes.
